Chatroom Notice

Okay, I've noticed that there are some problems in the Chat Room and I need to address them.

I don't know if you knew this but yes, I can remove you from the chat room. Here are some rules. If you break them, then I can and I will set the chat room so that only registered users can log onto it.

1. Absolutely no swearing!
2. No inappropriate content.
3. Do NOT pretend to be other people. 
4. Please set your chat name to your Moviestarplanet user so you can be identified. 
5. No harassing others.

I am also looking for more moderators on the Chat Room. Please email emily3815@gmail.com for more info. You cannot be a moderator unless you have your own email.

Sorry if I seem a little harsh, but if this continues to be a problem I will have to set it so only registered users can use it. Thanks.

Take Advantage of That Report Button!

Sometimes people break the rules. It's up to you to report them and help MSP so they can't break any more! In this post you will learn more about identifying and stopping the rule-breaking!

• How to Identify Rulebreaking

1. Threats: If they say they're going to do something bad to you. If you see someone saying that they will do something to you, like hack, hurt, or even report you, they are threatening you. Threats can be found in the rule breaker's status, when they talk to you, or even their name!
2. Swearing: People usually find creative ways to swear, like using symbols like $ as letters. Other  ways are adding periods or spaces between letters. Swearing is commonly found on forums, statuses, videos, or movies. Swearing should be reported so that younger players don't have to see it. Think about how weird it would be if little kids were swearing!
3. Chain letters: Chain letters are ALWAYS found on Youtube. That "post this on nine other videos and get a million starcoins" comment? That's called a chain letter. Chain letters AREN'T true, you will NOT get anything for just posting that comment! Chain letters are annoying as well as being against the rules. They are spamming the "normal" comments out of the Youtube videos! Report any chain letters that you see so it can stop.
4. Haters: We have always had or seen a hater. Haters are totally against a Moviestar. They spread lies about them or make artbooks and movies about them. Okay, you can find reasons to report these people. Spreading lies about you? That's called slander. Slander is creating a false reputation about someone. Hateful artbooks and movies? Report those too! If you don't report those haters, they're just going to get more and more people to hate you and maybe will start hating on more people!

Take action! Don't let people do these things and get away with it! Use that report button!

Stupid Ways You'll Get Reported

1. Asking personal information. Don't ask anyone their name, where they live, or their age. They can report you for this! Also, just because they ask you about your personal info, doesn't mean you can ask them! They can report you for asking them!
2. Posting the repost comments on Youtube videos. I swear, on just about every video I see at least one "Post this in 9 other forums and you get a million starcoins" comment. You can get reported for that! It's called Chain Letters! Chain letters don't work, so don't fall for their trick! 
3. Filter dodging. Filter dodging is swearing. You want to say a "bad word", but it keeps being replaced with those little stars ---> * so you add a period or a space so you sneak the word in. Don't do it, especially through statuses or on the forums! Anyone can see this and report it.
4. Don't report someone unless you've actually SEEN why they should get reported. For example, if a friend tells you to report someone, don't just report them. Ask the friend why they should be reported. For example, if your friend says they have an inappropriate movie, make sure you look at it to make sure it really is what they say. If you don't check and just report them randomly, you can get banned for sending in false reports!
